Torna indietro. La parte linguistica verterà principalmente sulla preparazione all'esame di certificazione internazionale del livello lower B2 del Consiglio d'Europa (Cambridge, First Certificate ). Si svolgeranno le unità del testo Objective First Certificate (CUP) nel corso dell'anno. Sarà rivisto e approfondito il programma grammaticale dei primi tre anni di liceo, con integrazione degli argomenti trattati attraverso lo studio degli stessi nelle corrisponderti unità del testo di grammatica.   Riconosciuto da aziende di tutto il mondo, il FCE documenta una padronanza della lingua sufficiente per un uso pratico in professioni manageriali, impiegatizie e di segretariato, e in settori, quali quello turistico, dove pressoché quotidiani sono i contatti con persone che parlano la lingua inglese. Gli studenti che conseguono tale certificazione sono in grado di comprendere e gestire lettere di routine, conversazioni telefoniche, alcuni corsi di formazione non universitari, libri di testo semplici ed articoli. Il testo di preparazione è costituito da 30 unità, che saranno utilizzate anche nelle ore di lettorato con una scansione di 8 unità per bimestre. Letteratura: Da Shakespeare al romanzo del '700.
